Best Okonomiyaki Osaka - Dotonbori Mizuno (feat. Yakisoba)


The first think about Osaka is
Dotonbori!!


I really regretted that we didn't hang around Dontonbori much
because we stayed near Umeda station.

We just spent half of a day
looked around and ate.

Originally,
We had a plan to eat at Kuromon market.
But,
We were so sad that it's different style with
Nishiki market in Kyoto,
and gave up eating.

Um....
We just can see lots of raw fish, sushi
which we don't like much.
So, Just walked around and came back to Dotonbori.

We were thinking about what kind of food
we had to eat at Dotonbori for a long time,
because seriously, many restaurant at Dotonbori,

it was our last day....
We finally chose the food we didn't try yet in Japan.





I couldn't know 
how many Okonomiyaki restaurant at Dotonbori.
We really wanted to eat Okonomiyaki.
therefore, It was really hard to choose.

We just passed Mizuno, several times.
There are lots of review of this.

And!
Also have MICHELIN!
We can believe!! can't we?





Look at the queue...

We just passed through this street,
The queue is always same...
So, we just decided to stand.

In spite of a number of people,
The line is shorter and shorter, fastly.





You need to chose the menu in the line in advance.

Don't worry!
Translation of many language are already prepared.

But,
you have to know
that additional order is impossible inside.





We ordered Okonomiyaki and Yakisoba.

The price is different according to ingredients.

We ate a lot already,
So, just pick half menu.

Half one is also large amount,
If you aren't hungry,
Half one is better.




Look so small place,
just 8 chairs in here.

but,
2nd floor exist!






Firstly,
Okonomiyaki with Scallops!

Scallops on the hot plate!!
It's like what I imagine the hot plate cooking!






Cover the lid and steam the scallops little time.

After cooking the Okonomiyaki with scallops,




Yakisoba start!
start cooking of Noodles, meat, vegetable.

Hot plate cooking is nice.
but,
the problem is.... we have to wait..
really hard time.

We are hungry,
can see and smell the food
but wait..





Okonomiyai under the lid was given, first.





Can you see the 3 of scallops?
Those were really soft!





I haven't eaten this food much.
But
I felt difference with others.

It's just half of half one,
but large amount.






Almost finishing to eat the Okonomiyaki,
Yakisoba also was cooked.

Noodle and vegetable were already finish
and put some green garlic, egg and parsley.





The red one is kind of pepper, I think.
It's for colour.






Cooking time is soso fast,
so, people don't need to wait long time,
even if it's very small place.





Personally,
I like Yakisoba more.





We don't miss to record!!
Just try it!






I was so sad
because I could go only few restaurant.

We just had loose plan,
and looked around slowly
So, we had lots of time to find a restaurant.


Until now,
we have not to visit same one,
but
I want to visit again this place.


Anyway,
You are willing to eat Yakisoba or Okonamiyaki
during travel in Japan.

I can't You have to go here,
because I visited just one place for the food.

However,
Considering Michelin and Lots of people,
It's worth eating!!
