Best 5 Korean Foods to Try for Foreigner travelers
This time, I picked the foods that foreigners must eat when they come to Korea.
When I travel, I find the goal of travel through food that I don't usually know.
So,I thought about what to eat for tourists who visit Korea.
These days, we can find out what kinds of foods foreigners eat and like through various TV programs, and I have seen them and selected them.
No.1 Bulgogi
Bulgogi is called the Korean barbecue and it is known to have captivated foreigners' taste. Unlike ordinary barbeque, they do not have to peel bones, and the sweet and sour sauce makes a strong impression on many foreigners.
When I watch the broadcast, many foreigners say that Bulgogi is the first thing that comes to mind when I eat Korean food.
No.2 Bibimbap
One of the most admired Korean foods by foreigners is bibimbap. While Bibimbap serves as a leader in promoting Korean food abroad, it is also well appreciated by foreigners visiting Korea.
It is simple food, but it is food that use fresh vegetables to give foreigners the impression that it is healthy food.
Depending on the ingredients on top of rice, it can produce different flavors and colors.
No.3 Chicken
Chicken is a foreign food brought in by the U.S. Forces Korea, but it is one of the foods known on the back of the other Korean wave.
In particular, Korea is the only country that has various kinds of chicken such as fried chicken, spicy chicken, and garlic chicken. In particular, the unique culture of Chi-Maek (chicken with beer) has led to an increasing number of foreigners seeking such cultural experiences.
No.4 Samgyetang (Chicken soup)
While foreigners are reluctant to eat Korean food such as Korean rice soup or soybean paste stew, samgyetang is one of the most preferred foods in Korea.
In particular, the Korean medicinal ingredient that goes with Samgyetang has established itself as a healthy food, attracting foreign tourists from Asia.
No.5 Gimbap (Rice roll)
Gimbap, which is considered a picnic food or a simple meal for Korean, is also a popular food for foreigners. Especially, if you are not a foreigner from Asia, you may not be familiar with rice because it is not a staple meal.
Recently, however, fusion gimbap, which is combined with various foods, has developed, and the number of visitors is increasing as chopsticks are known as finger food to foreigners who are not familiar with chopstickes..
